Online seminar on marking and feedback, June 2025

Marking end-of-semester exams poses some very particular challenges for graduate teaching assistants (GTAs) and lecturers who are being supported by graduate teaching assistants.

On the afternoon of 6 June 2025, this 1.5h free online workshop will review some of the key marking and feedback principles that are important in the process of grading exam papers (physical papers but also online submissions).

The workshop focuses on aspects of grading, coordination of the marking process and, importantly, provides tips on becoming a productive grader. It discusses some of the most common issues arising in the marking process and how to avoid major problems as the exam marking period approaches.
