Marking end-of-semester exams poses some very particular challenges for graduate teaching assistants (GTAs) and lecturers who are being supported by graduate teaching assistants.

On the afternoon of 6 May 2025 (1pm to 2:30pm BST (GMT +1)), this 1.5h free online workshop will review some of the key marking and feedback principles that are important in the process of grading exam papers (physical papers but also online submissions).
The workshop focuses on aspects of grading, coordination of the marking process and, importantly, provides tips on becoming a productive grader. It discusses some of the most common issues arising in the marking process and how to avoid major problems as the exam marking period approaches.
This online event will take place on Microsoft Teams. You do not need a Teams account - you can take part through a web browser - but having an account will give you extra features.
