Development of a training course using collaborative group learning
An Economics Network funded project during 2007
Project leaders: Miriam Kennet (in association with Mansfield College, Oxford University), Volker Heinemann (Green Economics Institute)

The course is intended to form part of an initiative by the Green Economics Institute to make economics more equitable, more participatory and more accessible. Two workshops will take place during 2007.
The course is intended to be part of an ongoing innovation in economics reform to broaden out its practice. It is part of a solid and ongoing process of change in this area. So multidisciplinary inputs are used, such as specialists in feminist economics in order to use the best research and methodology from that area. At the end of the course each participant should be enabled to feel confident to understand all the aspects of the course and to understand their own unique contribution in developing reform of what economics is and its aims and outcomes
