This chapter is an introduction to Open Educational Resources and the Open Education movement, aimed at university teachers of Economics. It explores the advantages of the open approach to educational resources, and places open education in the context of other "open" movements like Open Access and Open Data. We look at ways to find educational resources, especially platforms that enable remixing and reuse. If you are making educational materials of your own, this section will help you find source materials — photos, video clips and so on — that you can use while respecting copyright. Finally we look at releasing your own work openly.
