A PBL workshop will be held on 3rd June from 1000-1600 at the University of Westminster to discuss the use of this method of teaching with respect to Economics.

The 3 workshop leaders have all used PBL in their economics teaching and will share their experiences as well as give a brief overview of the philosophy behind PBL and how it works. The workshops will involve brief talks/discussions and some interactive elements (eg how to write a PBL problem).

The session will be run by Associates of the Economics Network: Philip Hedges and Denis McGrath from University of Westminster, Dean Garratt from Nottingham Trent University, Guglielmo Volpe from Queen Mary, University of London and Frank Forsythe, University of Ulster.
