Online seminar on marking and feedback 2024

Marking end-of-semester exams poses some very particular challenges for graduate teaching assistants (GTAs) and lecturers who are being supported by graduate teaching assistants.

On the afternoon of 16 May 2024, this 1.5h online workshop reminded Economics GTAs of some of the key marking and feedback principles that are important in the process of grading exam papers (physical papers but also online submissions).

The workshop focused on aspects of grading, coordination of the marking process and, importantly, provide tips on becoming a productive grader. It discussed some of the most common issues arising in the marking process and how to avoid major problems as the exam marking period approaches.
