QAA Subject Benchmark Statement for Economics (2023)

"defines what can be expected of a graduate in the subject, in terms of what they might know, do and understand at the end of their studies. Subject Benchmark Statements are an established part of the quality assurance arrangements in UK higher education, but not a regulatory requirement. They are sector-owned reference points, developed and written by academics on behalf of their subject.."

Teaching Excellence Framework

A grading scheme for institutions, developed by the Department for Education in England, introduced in 2016 with ratings first published in 2017. Now administered by the Office for Students.
