Retention of knowledge: long term effectiveness of WebCT-based continuous assessment scheme in case of Economics 1 module delivered at the Napier University Business School

The core aim of the project is assessment of effectiveness of WebCT based assessment scheme used for Continuous Assessment of Economics 1 module delivered to four cohorts of first year undergraduates' students in two academic years 2006/07 and 2007/08. It should identify main factors, which are important for long term retention of the knowledge. Results would be used in a process of adjusting the scheme and increasing its effectiveness. The dissemination of the ideas will take a form of presentations at international conferences and good practice seminars.
