Room 401, Graduate School of Education, 35 Berkeley Square, University of Bristol (Directions)
What
This meeting is for all successful Learning and Teaching Project holders to share project plans and ideas and receive feedback on evaluation and reporting. As stated in the grant requirements, it is an essential part of the project funding that successful applicants attend this initial meeting.
Information from the meeting
Each project will need to report twice:
- a project progress report by 17 Jan 2011
- a final report at the end of the project
There is a big emphasis on projects creating real change, not in just individual practice, but beyond. We're looking for projects to demonstrate impact not only on teaching and curricula, but also on students' learning and others' practice etc. The following impact guidance is designed to help you with this. Inna (Inna.Pomorina@bristol.ac.uk) is available to help with evaluation/demonstration of impact including help with student focus groups, online surveys etc.
Additionally, each project should expect to write a case study as part of our reflections on teaching web section, designed to support others in changing practice. The following case studies are good examples:
- Introducing Games/Experiments into a Intermediate Micro Economics Module
- Teaching Economics to Non-Economists
