We are happy to facilitate an awayday for your department on learning and teaching issues. These could include one or more of our workshop topics.
We can also facilitate a shared awayday between your department and an economics department from another university. The purpose would be to give you an opportunity to share experiences and ideas on various aspects of learning and teaching, such as curriculum design and content, learning/teaching modes, assessment, innovations in learning and teaching, evaluation, use of resources (such as the Web and virtual learning environments).
As with our workshops, there is no charge for this service, but the department would have to cover accommodation, transport and refreshment costs for its staff.
