The project is intended to redesign an introductory economics module taught to first year business studies students so that both learning and the majority of assessment will be enquiry based. The delivery of the module will focus on the delivery of threshold concepts rather than the coverage of a predefined traditional introductory economics curriculum. The concepts will then be contextualised by application to a student’s chosen firm at the start of the module.
