Bhagesh Sachania, Information Manager

I have been with the project since April 2000. Prior to this, I worked in the Undergraduate Admissions Office here at the University of Bristol.

My main duties are:

Leading, managing and implementing the long-term Information Strategy for the Economics Network, including the development and maintenance of several project databases/systems.

Applying specialist eLearning and economics skills, knowledge and expertise to support the learning and teaching of economics in higher education.

I am the Managing and Production Editor for the Network's two international, peer reviewed journals (IREE and CHEER).

I also work closely with colleagues from the Educational Support Unit to help design and deliver learning technology workshops for University staff. I have a particular interest in the use of blogging, podcasting and mobile technology (PowerPoint file, 687 kB) in higher education.
